(NYSE: SY), a leading provider of enterprise infrastructure and mobile software, has announced that the nation's largest electricity transmission and distribution company, the State Grid Corp of China (SGCC), has chosen Sybase to support its SG186 data centre operation with the industry-leading Sybase IQ analytical database engine.

Sybase was named the sole analytical database vendor for what is one of China's largest business intelligence projects and is the latest in a series of high profile wins in China.
