LINE global user numbers top 40 million, less than one year after its launch!

              After achieving the milestone of 30 million users in just 10 months last April, LINE's explosive growth has continued, with user numbers increasing by more than five million each month. Total user numbers have now exceeded 40 million since LINE's launch on 23 June 2011, less than a year ago

              A new shortcut that allows users to move between LINE Card and LINE Camera by using the [+] button in the chat rooms, and new notification options for each chat room are now available with LINE version 2.4.0, launched on 5 June 2012

              LINE has also recently added a "Group Board" function, enabling users to share images, video clips and more when using group chat rooms

 

Achievement of LINE & LINE Camera!

              After opening its online Sticker Shop on April 26th, LINE became the top-grossing app on Taiwan's and Thailand's App Stores as well as the most popular app in a number of other Asian countries, a sign of its growing global popularity

              LINE Camera has been downloaded 6.5 million times. In the App Store, LINE Camera was ranked No. 1 among free apps in 13 markets simultaneously, including Taiwan. It also ranks top in the Photo & Video Apps category in 19 markets since LINE Camera was launched on 26 April 2012
