Fuji Xerox Adds Value to SMEs and SoHos with the new DocuCentre 2058/2056
New monochrome, compact devices provide efficiency and affordability
08 Dec 2011

Hong Kong, 8 December 2011Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific today introduced a new addition to its monochrome multifunction devices (MFDs) portfolio, the DocuCentre 2058/2056 that print, copy, scan, and fax with ease and power – providing a more streamlined, and cost-effective business solution within a compact device.

The DocuCentre 2058/2056 packs a suite of powerful features into a compact chassis measuring at just 596 millimeters (width) and 572 millimeters (depth).  The wingless design incorporates a centre exit to minimise space requirements, even with the optional features, apt for small medium enterprises (SMEs).

With an intuitive quick-to-master user interface, the DocuCentre 2058/2056 offers businesses ease of scanning allowing urgent jobs to be processed instantly via the Copy, Scan, and Fax Easy-Access Buttons.  Users can navigate to different print jobs and configure MFD settings effortlessly with the four-line LCD panel and five-way key.

Another unique feature is the ID Card Copy function that simplifies the process of copying two sides of the identification card (ID) onto just one piece of paper.  The DocuCentre 2058/2056 makes it easier and more secure for businesses to reproduce confidential double-sided documents.

The DocuCentre 2058/2056 tackles monochrome printing and copying tasks at speeds of up to 23 and 20 pages-per-minute (ppm) respectively.  Crisp text and images can be produced at an enhanced print resolution of up to 600 x 600 dpi quality and at a faster turnaround time.

The devices are also equipped with a range of scan destinations and network configurations that let users control the flow of information with just a push of a button.  Combining the high optical colour scanning resolution of 300/200 dpi, the DocuCentre 2058/2056 produces vivid, high-quality e-documents primed for quick distribution.  Additionally, features such as n-up copying/printing and an easy-to-use feeder for copying mixed-size originals allow businesses to expand the possibilities for superior print and copy.

Equipped with built-in energy-saving features, the DocuCentre 2058/2056 operates at a low energy consumption, using a maximum of 1.76*1 kilowatts or less.  Sleep mode and low power mode options encourage users to save more than just in-house resources but also reduce carbon footprints.
